The power of Rupiah is a campaign to collect coins from ordinary people to be donated to the needy and less fortunate, primarily street kids. The campaign has been taken up by many campuses in Jakarta, encouraging students to give small amounts of money on a regular basis. For the student donors, this campaign creates an awareness of poverty and its human impact, thus fostering a habit of caring for and helping others.

GPF continues to make significant impact because it is guided by a simple yet powerful vision with a practical plan of action. That vision can be summarized in one phrase that is full of meaning - One Family Under God. The profound truth is that all humanity is connected together in a most fundamental way, beyond the differences of race, religion or nationality. Because we all share a common Origin or Source, the Creator God, all people are part of the one human family.
The Global Peace Festival (GPF) Indonesia brings together NGOs, organizations, institutions and individuals that share a common vision for national unity and social integration, and who wish to jointly collaborate with the Indonesian Goverment and the United Nations in achieving the Millenium Development Goals.
This festival is a platform from which they can share their ideas and endeavours, and create the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, develop partnerships and launch new initiatives together.
